It all started with
endless requests from our families, neighbors, and friends to
"come and see the snakes". It progressed to really
exciting Show & Tell times in our children's classrooms.
Now, it's a
Slither
Party
or
Snake
School
Slither Parties
are designed to give kids the party they'll remember for a
lifetime! They get to watch, touch, and hold a variety of
non-venomous reptiles, from native species to giant pythons.
Each child then gets a treat bag full of great reptile stuff and a
photo of themselves with a beautiful animal! Whether it's a
special birthday, a Church group celebration, a treat for a
Scouting group, or a "Just Because" event, we'll make
sure it's one that will be talked about for years!
Snake School
is designed for classrooms or companies. These presentations
are customized for each individual need. Classroom
presentations include hand outs to help them learn while they're
having fun, and plenty of opportunities to touch and hold for
those who are comfortable doing so. For companies, we are
able to teach people how to identify native snakes, especially
venomous from non-venomous. We instruct on proper handling
techniques and relocation choices.
We're proud to be
able to say that at every event that Jungle Mist Reptiles
has hosted, we've been able to watch the transition from
uncontrollable fear to understanding and respect on at least one
face!
